Science Council CPD Awards nominations close on 17 July
The Science Council's CPD Awards celebrate outstanding professional development in science, showcasing examples of good practice and continuous improvement.
Professional development efforts and achievements are recognised across the four Science Council registers: Registered Science Technician (RSciTech), Registered Scientist (RSci), Chartered Scientist (CSci) and Chartered Science Teacher (CSciTeach).
Anyone holding either of these registrations can apply to the CPD Awards until the 17th of July 2022.
Self-nominations should be submitted via this online form.
Further guidance for applicants can be found here.
The Science Council is holding the CPD Award ceremony in person, in London, on Monday the 21st of November, for the first time since 2019. Part of the Science Council’s Celebration of Science Evening, the ceremony will happen alongside the Gareth Roberts Lecture, where attendees will hear from Professor Dame Ottoline Leyser DBE FRS, Chief Executive of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
The Science Council are additionally accepting expressions of interest for CPD Awards judges, who would be required to assess applications once the nomination period ends on the 17th of July. Judges must be trained CPD assessors. Interested individuals should contact [email protected].
