FCS Training Session - Bullying and Harassment

FCS Training Session - Bullying and Harassment

The Federation of Clinical Scientists is hosting a series of virtual training sessions to equip our local trade union representatives, as well as our Ordinary and Federation members, with practical information related to workplace-related topics.

The next session focuses on Bullying & Harassment in the workplace and will take place on Tuesday 4th October 2022, 12 - 1pm, via Zoom.

Bullying and harassment is a big problem in the workplace. The TUC suggests 29% of people have experienced bullying at work.

The most recent NHS staff survey reports that between 18-19% of staff have experienced bullying, harassment or abuse from a manager or colleague. It can be difficult to differentiate whether it is ‘just banter’ or bullying or harassment but if any behaviour makes you feel uncomfortable it is unacceptable.

All Ordinary and Federation members of the ACB are invited to join this training session. It will help you explore the legal definitions, the duty of care of the employer and how to support a member who has been bullied or accused of bullying.

The deadline for registration is noon on Friday 30th September. The training is free to attend, but spaces are limited, so book your place now!
