Launching the

2018 Advancing Healthcare Awards

The 2018 Advancing Healthcare Awards are now launched. These UK-wide awards, now in their twelfth year, are exclusively for allied health professionals, healthcare scientists and those who work alongside them in support roles. Isn’t it about time you received the recognition you deserve?

This year fourteen awards can be entered directly and the website shows clearly which are open to both AHPs and healthcare scientists, and which are only for AHPs or only for HCSs. We have 4 new awards:

  • The Chroma award for realising potential through creativity
  • The Viapath award for innovation in healthcare science
  • The IBMS award for inspiring the biomedical workforce of the future
  • The Biomedical Scientist of the Year award, sponsored by Health Services Laboratories.

The Guardian is our media partner, and sponsor of the innovations in mental health services award. The website has full details of all the awards and includes lots of advice and tips about completing your entry and details of past winners. Here is the awards flyer for you to download to send to colleagues who may be interested.

The closing date is 17.00 on Friday 19 January 2018.

The date of the awards lunch is Friday 20 April 2018 at a central London venue.

We look forward to receiving your entry. Good luck!
