New Trainees Committee Chair

01/11/2013 12:03:42

We're pleased to announce that Emma Ashley has been elected as the new chair of the ACB trainees' committee. Emma takes over from Mark Sleeman, who is stepping down from the post after serving his term of three years. Emma is delighted to be taking on the role and stated that "on behalf of the committee, I would like to thank Mark for the huge amount of work he has done over the last three years. Mark has worked hard to ensure that the committee remains representative of all trainees during a changeable period for the Association. In addition, he has ensured that the committee has been active in implementing initiatives such as the reviews of NICE clinical guidelines and that trainees are involved in pathology awareness events. I look forward to continuing this work and working with the trainees' committee on new initiatives."
