Trade Union Support for all Clinical Scientists

Federation of Clinical Scientists

The Federation is a certificated trade union, with full national recognition and negotiating rights, which represents the interests of Clinical Scientists in the NHS and other related areas. The ACB is not affiliated to the TUC and is a non-political organisation. The Federation represents all members, including trainees, of the following specialities; clinical biochemists, cytogeneticists, molecular geneticists, immunologists, microbiologists and other clinical scientists. It is the 'principal executive committee' in industrial law terms. The federation is responsible to its membership for all matters involving industrial relations and conditions of employment. More information on joining the FCS is available by clicking on the 'Joining the FCS' link on the left hand side of this page.
