  • 26-28 Jun 2019: British Yeast Group: Discovery to Impact

    The 2019 British Yeast Group meeting will take place from 26-28 June 2019 at the County Hotel, Newcastle, UK. BYG 2019 will explore the theme of Discovery to Impact in which fundamental research themes are integrated with applied themes, including biotechnological applications of yeasts, yeasts as disease models, and pathogenic yeasts.

  • 28 Jun 2019: ACBI Educational Event on Gestational Trophoblastic Disease

    The Association of Clinical Biochemists in Ireland (ACBI) are hosting an educational event on Gestational trophoblastic disease services in Ireland and the UK at Cork University Hospital.

  • 3-5 Jul 2019: HEART UK 33rd Annual Medical & Scientific Conference

  • 4-8 Aug 2019: 71st AACC Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo

  • 5-6 Sep 2019: IMAV 2019: International Meeting on Arboviruses and their Vectors

  • 24-25 Oct 2019: Microbes in Medicine: A Century of Microbiology at Trinity College Dublin

    TThe discipline of microbiology at Trinity College Dublin celebrates its centenary in 2019 and this meeting will mark the occasion by focusing attention on the significant contributions that have been made by the College to microbial sciences. The meeting will be a celebration of the strength of microbiology today and the unifying scientific theme of the meeting will be Microbes in Medicine.

  • 29 Oct 2019: Antimicrobial drug discovery from traditional and historical medicine

    This focussed meeting will take place at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and will bring together researchers from diverse fields including microbiology, chemistry, botany and the history of medicine, along with industry contacts, to reveal the current “state of the art” of the field and define areas for collaboration, methods development and translational research.

  • 11-14 Nov 2019: FIS 2019: Federation of Infection Societies Conference 2019

    The Microbiology Society will be hosting the Federation of Infection Societies Conference 2019 (FIS 2019) at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) between 11–14 November 2019. This event is a unique conference which includes the collaboration of 16 societies across the UK with interests in different aspects of infectious diseases, clinical microbiology, biomedical science and infection control and provides a great opportunity to find out about the latest developments and to connect with key contacts and networks.

  • 26-29 Apr 2020: EFI 2020: 34th European Immunogentics and Histocompatibility Conference

    The 34th European Immunogentics and Histocompatibility Conference annual meeting will be held in the vibrant Scottish city of Glasgow from 26th - 29th April 2020. "From Research to Clinical Reality" is the theme for EFI2020 which reflects the breadth and depth of the impact of histocompatibility and immunogenetics in science and medicine.
