South West & Wessex Region: Trainees' Award

The trainees' award is awarded annually to a pre-FRCPath clinical scientist or medical trainee in the SWW region for their excellent contribution to clinical biochemistry. Trainees are invited to present a research project, audit or other development activity that they have performed during their training. Presentations (15-20 minutes long) are presented to the region at a scientific meeting. The judging panel consists of 2-3 consultants attending the meeting.
