is, what its major aims are, and how it is organised and managed. There
are details about the schemes currently available, along with specific
information about NEQAS centres for different branches of laboratory medicine.
These include steroid hormones, microbiology, renal pathology and antibiotics.
This site also contains information on forthcoming NEQAS meetings and others
relevant to quality assurance and enables you to participate in developing
the website which is currently being revised and restructured.

This site introduces the concepts of quality control (QC) from the perspective
of James Westgard. There is a discussion about what
is wrong with traditional QC. Some information about least squares variance
and what that actually means in practice. Also for sale is a QC planning
CD which introduces the multi rule interpretation theory. This is a very
useful resource for Clinical Scientists and it is definitely worth a look.
