The UK Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Guidelines, these were developed to promote optimal management of patients with CKD within the NHS. They were developed independently to, but in parallel with, Part Two of the NSF for Renal Services. The ACB was involved in the development of these guidelines which have important implications and recommendations for laboratory practice in the UK. Download CKD the Guidelines HERE

National Guidelines for the Performance of the Sweat Test for the Investigation of CF Following the consultation period on the November 2001 draft version the guidelines were finalised by the working group in July 2002 and submitted to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) for their appraisal process. The RCPCH has now undertaken an appraisal of the individual Grade B recommendations, and the Final Guidelines (Published November 2003) are now available on this web site.
