Who are we?
The Association itself is made up of The Association Council and its Standing Committees, full details of each of these can be accessed from the menus on the left hand side.
The office is manned by the following administrative officers:
Government Affairs Officer
Mr Joe O'Meara appointed to this post in early 2006. The remit of the ACB Government Affairs Officer is to maintain a better awareness of political developments and Government planning that may affect the profession and Laboratory Medicine, allowing the ACB to react in a timely and effective manner. We also hope to establish ourselves both for consultation on new planning and as a “lobbying” organisation, influencing policy and decision making from their earliest stages.
